After arriving, a day exploring Athens, and three days on the water, you find yourself lost in a smile realizing that Mediterranean life is as amazing as one could imagine. Still a bit sore from literally learning the ropes the past few days, we find ourself sailing into a small bay on the southern shores of Mykonos where the nestled Kalo Livadi Beach rests. Looking down through the crystal clear waters, a school of fish darts around the hull inspiring an urge to dive into the warm blue. Having delved through an extended list of delicious dinner destinations, we see the captain point toward the northeast shore, overlooked by the Salty Houses Pool-Bar and Restaurant.

After dipping your toes in the pool, now seated, overlooking the water with a bottle of wine native to the island, we watch the setting sun. Our sailboat rests peacefully, anchored below, the sounds of gentle waves and taste of salt air filling our senses.
